DESCRIPTION: Join Aladdin and Scheherazade to dance under the stars by torch light. Experience un-ending delights throughout the sultry night, as we dine on ripened fruit, drink of the fruit of the vine and pulse to the rhythm of ancient tribal beats.

Afternoon Flailathon

DESCRIPTION: In the afternoon on Saturday, in the vicinity of centre camp, weather providing, unforeseen circumstances notwithstanding, there will be held a flow arts workshop, focusing on, but not limited to, the fine are of poi manipulation. This is to be an all ages, all skill levels, inclusive expose, with elements of personal expansion and expansive personalization.

Chakra awakening with sounds, dance and energy

DESCRIPTION: We will start with chakra toning with the voice. Then we will awaken the energy in our palm chakras with energy, experiment with some healing energy work on the body, Reiki. Then if we have a sound system we will get up and dance alive the 7 chakras with creative movement and bellydance moves.

Fire Safety Workshop

DESCRIPTION: Anyone who would like to perform with fire at Otherworld must take this workshop before they perform with fire. Also, if you are not a fire performer, but would like learn how to be a fire safety technician for one of our shows you are certainly welcome to join us.

DESCRIPTION: Bunnies... ASSEMBLE! Calling on the (fun) fur army! March in celebration of all things cute and floppy eared! Demand more carrot and carrot-related foods! Protest against scientific experiments on bunnies! And then get yer drink on! Meet at the Bunny Warren in your best fun-fur finery at 5:30. We'll march through camp, loud, hopping and proud. Then back to the Warren at 6 for a cocktail hour, where we'll be serving libations and bunny-friendly snacks (bring your own cup). Hippity hop yo!

The Otherworld Science Fair

DESCRIPTION: The theme of Otherworld 2010 is… SCIENCE! Maybe you will be conducting studies through the course of the event, organizing an ant farm, growing mould, experimenting with magnets, building a volcano model, or some other important contribution to scientific knowledge! But how will we gather everything we have learned together? On Sunday June 20 in the Centre Camp tent, before we all pack up to leave, we will be holding the Otherworld Exhibition and Science Fair!
